New Lexington Chamber Partnership Announcement

The USC Region Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announces partnership with the The Greater Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center

Lexington will have a Small Business Development Center in the Greater Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center located at 311 West Main Street in Lexington. This office will be open Tuesday and Thursdays during normal chamber hours. To make an appointment, please contact Pete Oliver or Earl Gregorich at 777-5118. Mr. Oliver stated, “We are thankful to Randy Halfacre and the chamber staff in assisting us to provide our SBDC services to the Lexington business community.”

Small Business Development Centers assist local businesses with business counseling, business plans, financial projections and the business loan process. The SBDC also provides workshops and seminars to assist small businesses.

The Greater Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center and Lexington Area SBDC invite you to attend our workshops hosted at the Chamber.

Tuesday, November 10 – Training Event: Business Technology Trends – Technology is always changing and it is tough for small business owners to know what to adopt and what to avoid.  This course covers some of the latest tech-topics and how they might apply to small business.

Tuesday, December 8 – Training Event: Small Business Sales 101 – It has been said 80% of the sales are made on the fifth call or later.  Most sales reps never ask for the sale (ever!) and rarely make more than two calls on a client.  This course teaches basic sales pipeline strategies and discusses the challenges of making successful sales calls.
